Abstract
Bisphosphonates are very useful in the management of benign and malignant bone pathology. They are safe, and can produce only few complications; however, some of them are serious and can potentially endanger life. The knowledge of the patient`s clinical status and of the laboratory evidence both before and after treatment can help decision making as to which type of drug should by used and what is the correct dosage to indicate
