Sarcopenia in Latin America: Current Challenges in the Face of an Emerging Public Health Problem
Main Article Content

It is now defined as a muscle disease with functional impact and higher mortality. Addressing it requires regional data, specific diagnostic criteria, and further research to improve detection and health policies.
