Abstract

The fluoride content of bone mineral increases permanently during lifetime, even in residents of areas where tap water is not fluoridated. In these persons, the contents observed (4,500-6,500 ppm) poses the disquieting question of how many persons could have these levels in areas where tap water has more than 1 ppm fluoride.
